Book the right ticket and enter smoothly
Popular museums and landmarks may use timed, real-name reservations. Rules vary by venue, so check the official page before travel and use the same passport details for booking and entry.
Book with exact passport details
Enter your name, passport number, nationality, date, and time slot exactly as required. Save the confirmation and read whether the passport itself, a QR code, or both are used at the gate.
Arrive at the correct gate
Large sites may have entrances far apart. Allow time for passport checks, ticket assistance, and security screening. Bring the original passport used for booking.
Follow venue rules
Check rules for bags, food, tripods, photography, and re-entry. Inside, note the exit, closing time, and any separate tickets needed for exhibitions, shuttle buses, or cable cars.

What catches visitors out
Sold out or closed
Major venues may sell out and some close on a weekly rest day. Do not plan a headline attraction without checking first.
Passport option missing online
Try the official English channel or staffed ticket counter. Some venues retain offline help for inbound visitors, but availability is not guaranteed.
Wrong name or document number
A mismatch can block real-name entry. Recheck every character before paying.
